Thanks a lot everyone for your votes and comments - it's much appreciated. Some of you asked if these colours were real and I can assure you that they are - these are the natural colours of the Northern lights although they can be a bit different from time to time. The sky was amazing that evening and I happened to be well positioned with my camera and tripod.
