Divine service by BrinComment by bassbone: Great Job Brin - Fabulous image - Congrats on the Red Ribbon - clearly an inspired work both technically and from a challenge perspective.
What I find amazing is how seven voters could rate this as a 3 or lower...but I don't think we will ever understand some voting patterns.
If we could get into their heads to hear what they are thinking, maybe something like this ..."Let me see...yes..it has a church and a priest/pastor...it is well photographed...sharp, well illuminated, well composed...it appears to be consistent with the challenge...and it is nice to look at....hmmm...I guess I should give it a 2" |

Divine service by BrinComment by Brin: Originally posted by ryanschude: quite striking image. on a tech geek level which is irrelevant as far as the image goes, is there a reason why you shot it at iso 400 and 1/1000th of a second when you could have slowed the shutter down to 1/125 and shot at a lower iso to prevent the noise? |
In fact it was a "mistake" that I used iso400, I was taking photos inside the church before I took this one and because I was in a hurry I forgot to change it when I started to shoot outside. Thanks for your comment Ryan. Message edited by author 2007-06-06 12:45:04. |
