The Pianist by BrinComment by JuliBoc: Terrific shot. The black and white is so appropriate for piano. The geometry and lighting of the shot are lovely and the reflection tops it all off, so to speak.:) And not least of all, the pianist is quite intriguing. 10 |

The Pianist by BrinComment by quiche: Clever. Wish this had been Advanced editing so you could do more evening out of the hot spots. Still a very nice shot. The angles & lines paired with the portrait are quite good. |

The Pianist by BrinComment by AP: nice stuff, i would love to see what you could do under adv. editing rules with this. Specifically, the difference in tones/contrast b/w the real/reflection slightly troubles me. Not much you could do about that tho! Still, great shot, 8 |

Columns of steamby BrinComment by jasoos: If the smoke in the left upper end was not there this will be an excellent piece of work.... so sad this topic is in Basic editing..... |

Columns of steamby BrinComment by Abstract: excellent job capturing the "translucent" smoke. addition of reflection was a very good touch. why did not you try increasing the saturation? did you want to keep the mood of the photo a bit rough/dirty, instead of pretty, to fit the theme more appropriately? |
