looks like the shot was over exposed? maybe more apature so ya don't have to leave the shutter open so long? or maybe thats how ya made it get blue? photoshop might have done better if that's the case.. I am only guessing though.. otherwise cool idea and great shot of the moon

Okay... but how well will a textured shot do for photo journalism? Photo journalism on drought brings other images to mind. Things with tension in them, and a bit more human interest. Dried up ground only goes so far.

Good title and dramatization of the situation. Very simple. Maybe to simple. Would like to see more of the area looking like that, too show how wide spread the draught is. But what you have is technically good photo wise. Just need a little more, in my thughts. PTL5
