A Snowy Nightby vtruanComment by jmsetzler: This photo will likely suffer 'does not meet the challenge' votes. The scene itself is quite interesting but there doesn't seem to be a moving light source that is being used to illuminate your subject. That being said, I think this would have made a strong black and white with a slightly longer exposure (maybe one stop or so) and if you had not used the on camera flash. You have mixed two different light temperatures in this image by doing that. This shot needs a tripod and no flash :) |

A Snowy Nightby vtruanComment by nephrotic: This is a very evocative picture - and one I like very much but does not seem to satisfy the principles of "painting with light" - either a moving light source or long exposure with repeated illumination from different locations |

A Snowy Nightby vtruanComment by K-Rob: This might have been more interesting without whatever light source is blowing out the snow flakes in the foreground. On-board flash maybe? |

A Snowy Nightby vtruanComment by kncoughlin: My only suggestion would be to crop the lower part of this photo. The light is too white on the lower section. |

A Snowy Nightby vtruanComment by siggi: I feel that one thing is missing:
Use a non-stationary light source as the primary method of illuminating your subject in a creative manner.
