Southwesternby vtruanComment by glad2badad: I love this piece of jewelry and think the composition of the photo is very good. Lighting is a bit one-sided but works ok here. The big negative I have is the color choice of the text...it's hard to read parts of it against the light colored background. Overall, very nice. Good luck in the challenge. |

Southwesternby vtruanComment by ergo: Very nice focus on the piece itself, but I feel the shadow distracts and the font is both too small and too ornate, making it not as clearly legible particularly at the right bottom corner. Change of font and angle of lighting and this would be more effective for me. 7 |

Ole Yellerby vtruanComment by Zed Pobre: Interesting concept, with the title giving the focal point, but the interesting colors on the bird actually distract from the eye here. Also, both bird and eye seem a little out of focus. |

Ole Yellerby vtruanComment by eqsite: I'm not sure if this meets the minimalism challenge. As far as the composition goes, I really like the lines of the birds body and how they take the viewer's eye right to the bird's eye. The only change I would make would be to include all of the bird's tail. |

Ole Yellerby vtruanComment by jeweliek: subject is to occupy a very small portion of the image. This takes up most of the image, however, I love the detail and brightness of the eye. I like the use of DOF so that the subject isn't lost. |
