old flat footby vtruanComment by Sammie: This is nice, Van. The depth of field is so well done - each bird getting a bit more blurred as the follow the curve. The curve also leads you into the picture. I would have never guessed this was yours - I didn't even know there were sea gulls in Peublo! It really surprises me that this didn't place higher. The details on the first gull and the cement post are so crisp and clear and the off-center placement suits the picture perfectly. |

Knot Linesby vtruanComment by KHolt: because the background is almost white the sense of speed is lost in the photo therefore there isn't a distinction between fore and background. The knot lines make photo more interesting though. |
