Good distinction between foreground and background, foreground is sharp (although nest in front seems very slightly sharper than mother bird's eye) and bokeh is smooth and creamy. Bokeh of branch in lower right corner seems a tad too harsh and noisy, but could be due to bark texture. Color could be more balanced, seems to tend towards blue/purple. I like this picture very much! Added to my favorites :) Thanks for sharing.

nice enough snap shot, but for a photography competition you need more. Here you horizon is not level, the beach is under exposed and lacking foreground interest. The sky and water are fine though you may have pumped the saturation a little bit too much.
