My house is covered in these bugs every summer. Ambush beetles are cool neat, great shot catching it near the home of its prey. :)

A good idea here, and a great choice of subject. Fits the challenge well. I think compositionally though, this is a case where the subject needs to get out of the center of frame. You could probably afford to move to the left or right here. Possibly, if you rotated the spot from where the shot was taken to the left some, and got more of an angle going on. Still including the overgrown weeds and stuff, but getting the post and chain over on the right thirds line, and still have the element of the fence board, just more of an angle and strengthening the leading lines in the image.
