I'm sure it was actually called Rick O'Shay. I loved it, back when I was a fearless gunfighter. Rick was a bit light in the loafers, but Hipshot was my kinda dude.
Even your colours colors look like they are yearning to be mono, G. You shoulda been an indie film director I think. Something with subtitles. Message edited by author 2009-01-14 16:35:38. |

Night Falls on the Cityby GermaineComment by Bear_Music: I'm trying to remember the name of the old comic strip that had Rick O'Shay and Hipshot Percussion as characters... The latter can be your new nickname. This is an awesome shot. I'd congratulate you for your bravery in cutting off the earth and most of the buildings, except it was just random happenstance :-) Regardless, it's a very effective image. Is the underexposure in-camera or in post? |

Supervisorby GermaineComment by Art Roflmao: Love the BW conversion - good tones and the LB effect works to make a nice piece of fine art from what would otherwise be a typical surveillance photo by a cop whose cover had been blown. :) |

Citrus Sunriseby GermaineComment by RKT: I love the halos...it's as if the lights are shouting at us but the sound travels so slowly we will never hear it. |

Supervisorby GermaineComment by tph1: I like it. I like it in B&W. And the way a mundane activity is transformed into something so interesting. The repeating patterns on the awnings, windows and ventilation hose. And the 'foreman' looking at you with a smirk (?) on his face. Nice work. |
