Dreaming of Peter Cottontailby GermaineComment by UNTITLED: Interesting composition with nice light on the flowers. But the lighting doesn't seem to carry to rabbit as nicely, with one side overly lit and the other underlit. Some fill-flash would help even that out. |

Not only do you keep finding 'em (which I've discovered is much harder than it looks), but then you know exactly what to do with them. It's a sort of distilling process, where you find and reveal the essence of a structure by excluding most of it!
Reminds me of the quotation "God is in the Details", by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (who of course was, appropriately enough, an architect).
Anyway, it's always a pleasure to see your architectural stuff. |

Funk Zoneby GermaineComment by Jutilda: I love the multiplicity of all of the rectangles!! The red off center block in the lower right really pulls your eye! I actually like the cord, as it adds a vertical sense to it. Nicely done. |

Gold Coastby GermaineComment by Neuferland: This is so peaceful and lovely. I love landscape shots with the ocean and water in them. The boats are a nice touch to bring you back to the water and the sky is a very nice tone with the yellows and orange. The balance between water, land and sky seems off just a touch in the balance. It's a little top heavy to me, but otherwise, very well done. An 8 |

Gold Coastby GermaineComment by LucidLotus: Great hues. Like the silhouettes, though I do wish one or two of the boats were a bit closer thus giving more detailed silhouetting. The focus looks good but it seems a bit hazy out. Could just be the yellowy nature of the image blotting out details but I wish it was crisper. Very nice. 5 |
