IMO - compoistion is a bit off. Cropping a bit off the bottom would help, and even better if you could show more of the sky - kind of like the plane was wishing to fly, and looking up.

If you would have put the plane in the lower half of your picture instead of the upper part it would've worked better, because then you would actually get the sense it was something that could go up. Now, with all the concrete, it's less "scary".

For this contest everyone who has the word �circle� in their title is getting a max 10 score. This is a copy and paste version that I am including in every photo that I upgrade to 10 due to the title. We as members of DPchallenge need to be reminded of the topic of the challenge � we really need to reread the topic every time we reach a photo. If circle is in the title and it is appropriate I will give a 10. I am sorry if you do not agree with my method of voting � but scores are all I have.

Using the flash in this case made the image look rather flat, next time try to use natural light makes the object really stick out..

This picture doesn't evoke anything because it is a rather ordinary object shot from a perspective very familiar to people. The bright flash coming directly from the camera creates a reflection on the fan and the wood background that takes away any artistic qualities that might have been intended and makes this feel more like a quick snapshot. Unless, of course, this was entirely intentional, in which case, this is quite brilliant. The photo meets the challenge but fails to engage me. 5
