Baby's First Stepsby inspzilComment by lisae: As much as I love kittens, I've always thought newborns looked like mutants! You did well to take what seems like a really formal, studio style photo of this guy, but there are some problems with it. I like the soft focus look, I think that's fine, but the tonal depth is a bit flat, the composiiton doesn't seem tight, and it seems a little bit underexposed to me. The huge shadow over the kitten's front paw (the one on the side near the camera) has an odd effect. |

Baby's First Stepsby inspzilComment by Jacko: Love it! That looks like a brand new addition to your family. The subject is utlra cute and I like the tones of the picture (sepia?). Jacko. 10 |

Baby's First Stepsby inspzilComment by Swashbuckler: Ahhh, very cute! Interesting ears and tail. Seems a little too young to be weened, did you get the "parents" permission for this photo (child protection laws...joke!) The spotlight on the background might be a little too strong, but the foreground is very, very nice. Good detail. 8 Swash |

Huddled In The Cornerby inspzilComment by Swashbuckler: Cute, cuddly, and perhaps a little sad, but not really dispair. Lighting might need a little work. It's soo cute! I liked the picture of this kitten in the Stock photos just a little better (seemed more appropriate, too). 5 Swash |

Baby's First Stepsby inspzilComment by LindaLee: I just love this shot! I would like to have seen light fill in some of the shadows, especially on the little kitty, but overall the photo really appeals to me. |

Baby's First Stepsby inspzilComment by autool: This is a great subject, but it looks like you tried to save it with the use of sepia. Probably a little underexposed and this is as good as you could get it. I'll give you a 5 for all of the effort. |
