Ok, there is a raging debte about people's voting habits at the moment, so i will attempt to give a detailed comment with my vote:

Sharp;good. Bokeh that gives a poping out effect; good. title: good and goes with the effective blurred background. Lighitning on the guy, great. 8...9..umm, let's go with nine seeing how everyone seems to be scoring low

very flat, harsh light - the on-board flash? - makes this look like a snapshot. Tough subject to shoot in interesting ways, maybe set up a table in front and use this for a background? So between the tough subject and the flood light source, I've given you my standard "snapshot" score of 3. Hope that helps.

nice stacking! I like the coloring and textures on the ends of the logs. The bark kind of runs together on the lower right, could be lighting washing out the details, or some post processing adjustments causing this.
