OK, sorry if my earlier comment was too harsh. There's nothing wrong with photographing this popular rock. This is a decent photo (nice reflection, I like the people walking on the beach), but it doesn't really "pop" for me. It's good that you stood (crouched?) in the water, but I think it may have been even better if you had gotten down even lower, so that the camera was practically touching the water. Just a thought... could be wrong. You may get some comments that the horizon line should follow the "rule of thirds," but I would not agree with that. Put the horizon wherever you feel it looks best!
