Sourceby annahComment by saiphfire: very cool... I can't tell what that orange thing is, but it's got a great luminous quality (even aside from the light trail)... only two small criticisms: 1. don't like the border 2. you can see something in the background - probably a hand or something which you could have edited out in advanced, but not in basic... overall this is one of my favorites, though. |

Pink Little Flowerby annahComment by fotodude: *well ok the challenged ended before i got back to viewing and bumping but i couldn't go any higher on this 1 any how......
i really think u should've placed 1st in this challenge there wern't many others that worked with grain the way film really works with it...so i was left th throw away my film routs and look for the best done digital rendition...and really truly this makes the most of the medium...
however i still think the title is a negitive but what can you do...can't have it all 100% and it is just my poor opinion anyhow.....closing statments still stand*
-best of luck
btw i think the title detracts but i didn't read it till after so u have taken a great stand alone shot....and i hope it gets the vote it needs to place as well as it should

Miss Youby annahComment by LoudDog: Greetings from the Critique Club Anna:
First off, I added you to my favs list because I realize I neglected to add you before. You are easily one of the best photographers on the site (in my opinion).
On to your photoâ€Â¦ I think it’s perfectly done for what you were going for. The lighting is perfect, the props are great and I like that you have the marker there by your hand (Green Day rocks BTW). And what a great idea! The photo definitely gives the mood of a love struck teenager separated from their love. The writing is like random thoughts, the differences in size shade and capitalization also makes it seem more random, really giving the photo that emotional touch. But a permanent marker? Ouch, I bet it was fun removing. Next time just use a washable marker and use the permanent one as a prop :)
While it̢۪s not a traditional greeting card with flowers or puppies, I do think it fits the challenge well and personally I like it better then the flowers and puppies. I don̢۪t shop for cards very often, but I know in the last few years cards like this are starting to pop up. Sending a card like this to someone would really get your message across.
Great job as usual. I always look forward to your next submission. |
