Im trying to comment more on the middle of the pack shots, so ....
I like the way you framed the hands and face, the colors look great and the blue in the blanket set off those baby blues very nicely.
On the down side, the blanket is too busy and bright to let the eye focus on the child, and the on camera flash creates too even a light and that hard inverted V of shadow, distracting from the lovely lines which the hands and arms make.

I'm not getting the branch part, and it looks more like a photo that would be in a family album then a photo that would be entered in a photo contest.

Great focus on the eyes, the background seems a tad bit distracting, and there seems to be a lot of noise in the photo. I hope you do well in the challenge. ~Roni
