Contrary to where this finished and some comments, this is a very good shot and its great to see someone stretch and climb out of the box. If you don't experiment you'll rapidly fall into the same rut as many others do around here. Great work and keep it up. Try a similar shot the next time there is a B&W challenge and you'll hear nothing but praises!!

I love the colors in this one. Great photo. I also love the randomly placed white pumpkins.. I would have liked to see one on the bottom row also, but I'm sure you didn't arrange the display yourself! :)

I think there's too much noise in the skiy. Aside from that the colors are great and this is a place where I enjoy taking my god children :) They have fun and so do I :)

i would be interested in seeing how this photo would look with deeper orange tones...the lighting/reflection of the pumpkin skins makes them appear to be a bit washed out. i also wonder how this shot could be framed to add more energy and visual interest...perhaps taken at an angle to cary the pumpkin line 2/3rds of the way across the image field?
