Very nice job, i would love to see both eyes, but, this is fine to, each shot of any given animal is an individual choice in style and unique capture, the capture here has personality, good lighting, focus and very nice choice of backdrop! i can see taking pics from different angles of this guy would be so beautiful. I love textured backgrounds this one is velvet and adds character.

Beautiful photo, excellent lighting... I think it would be better if the cat were looking into the photo instead of out of it... but i know cats have minds of their own. :) I think all of the shots were fabulous. I'd choose you to take a portrait of my dog! :)
