8 - Nice study. Main detractors in this image in my opinion are the background: whilst it 'suits' the colors, doesn't really lift the image as a whole; the 'smoothness' (possibly pp/neat image - but apologies if wrong) - just like to see more detail in the textures, but this could be exactly as you wish it; the cropping - either finer on the right to eliminate the space between the petals, or better, including the edge of the lower petal and; the saturation, or color - nice as is, but the yellow just seems it needs some tweaking, hard to explain. Up to 8 from 7.

This is beautiful. I LOVE the unusual viewpoint and composition of this. Wonderful choice of angle for this shot. I also like that I can still see the texture on the larger petals, even though they are not the main 'focus' of the shot.
