Peppery Antipastiby hotpastaComment by ambaker: Crtique Club Review:
Focus is good, but depth of field is a bit too short. I would have liked to have seen sharpness through the front edge of the platform for the spices. At the very least all the peppers should have been sharp.
Color, saturation and hue are done well. Lighting is done well also.
Composition is good, and draws interest to the pepper corns as it should.
With corrections to depth of field, this would make a nice magazine layout. |

The Three Amigosby hotpastaComment by sherpet: I just love the faces of these three boys.
Gee, I give anything to get a chance to go to Kenya.....
I think I may have left it to late.
Maybe by visiting your portlolio often, it will give me a taste of what it is really like. |

The Amsterdam New York Cityby hotpastaComment by UNTITLED: Lovely rich colors in this photo. Also amazing detail and clarity on the Amsterdam and the other building balances the composition so well. You even create a bit of a dizzying feel from the sheer height of the buildings. This is quite masterful on so many levels. Excellent! |

Mt Kenya Motherby hotpastaComment by UNTITLED: I love the silhouetting in of the mother and child in this photo, with just a bit of catch-lighting for a little bit of information. Against the blue tones of mountain and sky really top it all off. Very nice! |

Music: When Acoustic Met Electricby hotpastaComment by rinac: Hey hey... not a bad finish considering you were worried about DNMCs. I thought it a great take on the challenge and wondered how it would go. Gave it a 10 without batting an eyelid. The noise didn't particularly bother me. You captured a perfect James Morrison moment (or any great brass muso for that matter)- the screwed up face, sweaty brow and forehead thanks to lights and of course, effort.
Fantastic work! :)
Cheers
