Really meets the challenge by allowing the available light to illuminate the flowers in the foreground while not blowing out the greenery outside. |

THE WINNERby hotpastaComment by heathen: I never mentioned how much I love this shot. I'm a huge, huge fan of slight desaturation, and the action in this shot just puts it over the top for me. I too was hoping you'd get a 7+, top-5 (at least) for this, but as you said 14 out of 618 is a lot to be proud of.
This is a fantastic shot Enzo! |

Maggieby hotpastaComment by justine: Love this. The perspective is very cool and the focus is super nice. I wish the dogs eyes were a bit brighter but this is a good entry and I hope you do well. |

Maggieby hotpastaComment by PurpleFire: I love this shot. I like pet shots like this, put the character of the animal in a comfortable setting which addes to depth to the story.
I would only change two things.....
One: I'd like to see the cropped out shadow. In fact, I would like to see the shadow as part of the comp, not just an incidental.
Two: I think a touch more shapening would do this image wounders.
Overall, great shot. six from me. |

Maggieby hotpastaComment by Xilebo: Maggie is beautiful posing there, like everything about this shot, the surrounding the strong light above her the smooth sand..very nice! |

Floralityby hotpastaComment by violinist123: I was wondering if anyone would do something like this what with all the talk of mundane landscape shots. This is a really great example of what HDR can be used for in a non-LSD inspired fashion. The details through the window aren't overexposed, the still life is not a shadowed mess. Nice job and good luck. |
