a border should either be a waste of pixels and a distraction or omitted entirely - this looks like you went only half way. this image is an easy 7 or 8 otherwise - terrific capture and nice job in post. gl.

I did something very similar to this. I think the clouds and sky are a great use of negative space and put clear emphasis on the subject. However, others are not thinking the same way as me. Hope yours is doing better! Well done!
