The light, the composition, the smoke... all brilliant in my opinion. This shot is painfully underrated, but I suspect it is due to the actual image's somewhat tenuous link to the concept of poverty (he doesn't look poor off the bat). I'm sure if this was zoomed out people would see it more clearly, but the photo as it stands is a fave.

She (being the real one) seems totally unphased by the Giant Shopping Woman. Nice choice of person to walk by, given that her clothing and bag suit the poster (ie B&W). Only the hint of color on her skin gives her away.

Im scoring this very high - great concept but the title is just waaaay too long and unnecessary. let the image tell the story. just "women shopping" would do it, or "women love bags". whatever. great concept. gl
