Waitingby Eagle40Fox2Comment by giantmike: Good use of fill flash to bring out the details in her hair/face, without overdoing it. I like the choice of B&W here. I also think vignetting would have been a good choice for this photo. |

LIke the shot , B&W was a good choice like to see this again with the model facing the camera , in my opinion this would give strength to the image. |

WALL-E??by Eagle40Fox2Comment by Chandi: Excellent caption - Made me laugh :) Nice foreground bokeh, and good detail on the eyes. Not the usual perspective. Well done. My top 10. |

AGAPEby Eagle40Fox2Comment by one2one: Good exposure. Crisp focus. Clean image. This shot would have scored a 6 easy 18 to 24 months ago. It does look like a reflection and I'm sure everyone including me thought so when voting. There's a wave of anti water drop, anti glass on white background, anti anything that's been done before by the old foggies that have been here for a long time. They seem to think that we do not have the right to produce these types of images because either they're tired of seeing them or just can't produce anything close to them so they kind of get frustrated of seeing the same type of image win ribbons.
My advice, keep on doing what you want and like. Don't listen to these people and move forward with your photography shooting what you want to shoot. This is a learning site and doing that type (glass on white background) is a learning process. Just like doing water drops is a learning experience.
There is absolutely no reason for this image to deserve three 1 votes. You were low-balled by voters who do not like glass shots even though they're well done technically, such as yours.
