People will give this a 3--second scan and immediately conclude "Not Minimalism". I can probably say that you have gotten many comments and have been voted down for not meeting the challenge. However, after scrutinizing this image further, one recognizes the true brilliance of the shot. The few ambiguous figures in the distance give such a sense of scale that one wonders what the meaning of minimalism is to begin with. There could be a few technical improvements of this shot; I would start by dodging and burning more as well as bumping up the contrast (maybe a try in B&W?), but these are easy alterations to do and I'd love to see what you do to this shot in the future. Beautiful work, don't let the high-speed voters of DPC let you down. Hope this 10 bumps you up further!

Beautiful photo, but doesn't seem at all "minimalist" to me. I know there are some tiny people over there, but the over-all scenery is what draws my eye. I'd call it grand and magestic instead of minimalist!

nice frame, but the subject is not minimal. I know you wanted it to be the people, but they are not the subject that I am drawn to, it is the landscape.
