Wow, I can't believe all 5 comments on this photo have been negative! This is a very good photo. The shallow depth of field works really well here. And the title isn't saying that the caterpillar is beautiful, it's saying that the caterpillar is destined to be beautiful. Is that a Gypsy Moth caterpillar?

Great catch! Better, yes, if he was coming in from the left - but still a nice combination of elements here. I love the older looking bike, and I think it works out well that he's wearing natural colors to match the surroundings. The motion of the waves adds a lot too. It's often easy to blow out the details in the waves, but you nailed it. Good colors and exposure.

These are not easy to get! Good job. I think I might like the contrast bumped just a bit. It might also be fun to play with the color tones...I would try a bit of blue to get that cold feel to it.
