Lots of good curves, but I find myself wondering... what is it? A touch more lighting in the centre would also help bring a bit more contrast on the edges.

I like the way the light picks up the little pocks on the surface of the paint, and the way the yellow reflection complements the sun's specular spot. Still, it would be just as interesting if it were a green sphere...

That's one large jawbreaker. I like the colors, but I find the background somewhat distracting. I know you didn't have much choice in that, if you wanted the shadows how they are, you only had two sides to shoot from and maybe the other side was worse.

The focus is great and I love the colors! But leaving that blurred background sky at the top just brings it down a few points. My eye keeps travelling up there and away from the main part of the photo. I would have liked to have seen maybe a closer shot or maybe a slightly different angle so the ball really captures your attention and holds it. It's still a good photo though!
