Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.
First Impression - the most important one:
Wow .. always like these shots ... does this mean though that too many people do this?
Composition:
This is a very centred shot. Working towards the rule of thirds would help to create a different point of interest ... or taking a look at how to create a golden tringle ... something to take away that centre focus.
Subject:
does it meet the challenge .. well it does if you are trying to successfully do a stop motion shot. But others may not see it that way .. which is why I think there are a few DNMC type votes.
Technical (Colour and light):
This is really an amazing colour ... it has a great depth as well. so very unusual. It is reasonably sharp and the lighting used here is perfect.
To grow its vote?:
it is becoming a little cliched this type of shot .. but that should never put you off ... but work towards meet composition rules and see if that helps.
Summary:
great shot ... good colours ... I am stunned. :)

First impressions, compositions is great. I like the tight crop. Focus is spot on where I think it needs to be. My attention immediately goes to your eyes. Which has a look of determination. I like the DOF which is making your chest blurry. I really like the fade to all black behind you. Job well done. The two things that I say would improve your photo is to try and avoid the hot spots on the sword and on your forehead. Really nice photo though. |

Successfully frozenby sangeethComment by sukuriant: This is an awesome shot. The only thing I could suggest is that you move the center of the drop so that it's at a point in the rule of the thirds, or a along the line of the golden... Aside from that, however, it's awesome :-)
