Upper New York Bayby dimitriiComment by dr rick: The choppy water and fog enshrouded city make this image very moody, a feeling enhanced by using black and white. The deep DOF is a bit hard to make out through the fog. |

Upper New York Bayby dimitriiComment by wagnes: Could this be cropped successfully (IMHO) so that there isn't so much empty space in the top 2/3 of the picture? On the other hand, this may be what you wanted for effect. Nice work. |

Upper New York Bayby dimitriiComment by DonC: I think you nailed the depth of feild very nicely and in a very unique way by letting the haze controil the depth for you. Very nice specially considering the the main subect isnt so great. |

Las Vegas Showgirlby dimitriiComment by blemt: Very interesting shot, and an excellent example of "grain" lending mood to an image. I might have used something to erase the footprints and tire marks on the ground to give it a cleaner feel. It also looks like you need a slight burn on the hands/lower back area where the hands fade into the back a bit. One of my favorites. 9 |
