Comment by Tess:
Excellent question. The water was still and there was no whitewater. I guess I should have thrown a rock into the pool. Just kidding. Damn, now I'm fixating on it and I guess I should have cropped it tighter. Thanks!

Comment by Germaine:
What happened to the water in the lower right. The rest of the river is whitewater, and this doesn't have any texture at all. Could you just crop that out? Otherwise, it's a great picture. Good work.

The desaturation works really well, I also like the pose, and the bars in front. The background is just a little sloppy with the shoulder and the horse, as well as all the trailers. I'm not sure if that could've been cleaned up though. 7

Comment by JPR:
I like this photo a lot. The use of the "frame" in this is interesting. I can't decide how I feel about it. On one hand it seems to be framing the hand and belt buckle, which would make an interesting image all on their own, but I feel that in this case the face/hat is where the character is. On the other hand, I feel the shot would be much less interesting if it wasn't shot through the foreground gate. It gives it a more natural and candid feeling. Screw it. What the hell I'm I talking about. I'm giving it a 10 and adding it to my favorites. The more I look at it the more I love it.

The Sepia on this shot was very well utilized. You have captured his youth perfectly and the title just hits it home. I'll see you later.

what is the intended focal point of this photograph? I can't tell if it's his face, the straw, his hand, or the bull.
