Shadow and Lightby WalesPComment by MikeJ: This really needed a bit more light on the shell itself. To me it's just too much in shadow. |

Day22 - In Trainingby WalesPComment by colorcarnival: That's a great candid photo. I admire her for wanting to get out and train for a triathalon. That is also very cool info about the pool. It's awesome that no chemicals are used there. |

Day22 - In Trainingby WalesPComment by citymars: She looks relaxed in that way one does after a good round of exercise. That's neat that she let you photograph her training. Pretty lady, good composition. |

Day16 - Ice Creamsby WalesPComment by citymars: I love neon lighting. It's very easy to blow out, so you did a good job. "Amy's" sounds like Cold Stone Creamery, a franchise that does the same thing. |

Day17 - Victorby WalesPComment by citymars: Ron, this looks so much like someone I see around in NYC, I had to check your location to see if it might be him. I forgot you were in Austin. Did you realize there are at least three people from Austin participating in this 50 day challenge?
Good job on the cloning -- I'd never have guessed.

Day20 - Test Shotsby WalesPComment by citymars: That's really interesting. Note to self: don't drink the client's product! :-)
I know this was all about the lighting, but this shows a few things that you'll know about next time. For example, the frosted glass really makes the first shot special, so you'd want to have a big supply on hand for repeated takes. I've also noticed in other people's shots the importance of having the backdrop ironed. |
