I know with these shots you have no control of the background, so I am not concerned. However you have slightly missed the arc and is makes this hunter look sloppy. George Morris would crucify this picture, but I still like it.

sharpness is alright, but the softness of the photo remains. composition needs help too. What does the top half add to the picture.

Focus is a tad off and it looks like there is a shadow from your lens on the front of the flower. You could crop off the bottom and left and create an offcenter composition that IMO would be more effective.

Let's see, I counted a little over 100 bug shots. After awhile commenting gets to be ho humm and my fingers automatically type "good capture...nice focus". This one included. However, I will add that this one appears flat. I use Photoshop Elements and would try adjusting the shadows and highlights to give it more depth and make your bee stand out from the picture better. Also, try cropping a little closer at the bottom to get rid of the shadow.
