This is really neat, I'll be glad to see how you did it. Great job. A bit too much on the shadows but I wonder if that was necessary.

Great job of hiding Waldo. and Beautiful photo. But come on, a mason jar. Didn't you have anything else to put the flowers in? The are exquisite flowers and deserve to be shown off to the fullest in a beautiful vase. A nice vace would hve helped so much. Details, details. they can make or break you. This is probably the 2nd or 3rd best job of hiding Waldo of the challenge but the composition lacks badly. Need to spend more time on the overall composition the next time. This had the potential of being #1.

Critique Club Critique

(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) This is an adorable photograph. I know how difficult it can be to photograph pets, especially one with lots of energy. You have done well to wait until the dog was sleeping, and also including the ball for content. It looks as if he/she has worn themself out playing.

(2) BACKGROUND You have filled the frame nicely with just the subject, therefore, there is no distracting background.

(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL The DOF is very good, all of the important parts are in sharp focus. I love the details visible in the dogs tail and also the eyes are very sharp. Your composition is excellent and the ball adds just the right touch.

(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL Your post processing is good. Saturation is good. Your cropping may be a bit tight. I feel that something is missing where the dogs other ear should be.

(5)MEETING THE CHALLENGE This does an excellent job of meeting the challenge, not only in the subject, but aslo in the title.

(6) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO The subject here is wonderful. The way you executed it is great. This is a photograph that you should be proud of. After all, aren't pets part of the family? Good luck on future challenges.

Van Gogh's Sunflowers, ok. Meeting the challenge? I don't see a person, so no. OK - is it the eye in the flower?

This is one of my favorites so far. A lovely photograph that meets the challenge in a unique way. I especially love the piece of material under the vase that ties it all together and the high-contrast feel this has.
