There are a few things as impressive as the heavens above at night. You captured something very special here. For me the white snow is more a distraction than it should be. My eye keeps coming back to it.

Mount Banner -- AHHHH, fantastic! I spent 5 nights in and around the Minarets/Banner/Lyell range this summer. One of our campsites was at the west end of 1000 Island Lake, at the feet of Banner. I had a similar shot as yours that i considered entering but yours is 10x better than mine so I'm glad I held back. :) Good luck and I'd like to get some details from you regarding the technicals of your shot.
