Thank you! This was my first attempt at star trails as well. I had shot one shot prior to this one with the same settings, but at 1600iso and it was way blown out, so I dialed it back to 200iso and left it open for another 2hrs. In PS I boosted the saturation quite a bit and that was all.

Thank you all for your comments and votes. That is my dog Smokey and he loves to play with the water hose. Actually, he's a bit of a pain sometimes, since when ever we run a hose around the house, he's there, thinking it must be play time.

I meant to come back and comment on this but didn't get time. It's a great action shot and unique in this challenge. My dog loves to catch water too. I love it and gave you 9. It was in my top 4.
