So, which is which? Sorry, I couldn't resist. I like the costume changes...really helps to make this more interesting than the typical shot like this. I think the border is unnecessary and makes this look a bit like a fridge magnet.

'8' - Good shot. Criticism; sharper focus on the dog would make this a better photograph in my opinion. Perhaps a slight nudge rotation left, and a tighter crop at the bottom and bring in more (if possible) of the cover.

i think you had an award winning idea. for me you needed to show a fuller view, bring in a another light (it appears as though you're just using window light and it wasn't quite enough), and get a greater depth of field on your focus. you also needed to get all your horizontal lines, horizontal. the hardest part is the idea, the other stuff will come much easier with a bit more time.

Im not sure if this one is my favorite out of all of yours or the very first challange you did with your oldest daughter!! I love this you did a great job on this!! Oh and by the way I love the border I think it makes the picture that much better being that the picture is a little small!!
