VOTE!!!by ralphComment by posthumous: Notice "the war" is taken out of context. It always is. I love your rough, looming pencil slouching toward washington. 7 |

blowing trees in infraredby ralphComment by sibeling: These infrared shots just do not do it for me. That's my problem, I know, but I really don't see how infrared adds anything to this. Why did you make it infrared? Just because you could? I'm not trying berate or belittle you, I'm just at a point in my "photography" where I find myself, asking "Why?" more often, and I really am curious why you chose to use this treatment.
You know, the more I look at this, the more it's growing on me. I like the clarity of the strong, vertical pole contrasting with the blurry, moving trees, and the infrared seems to really emphasize that difference. I guess I should just think of infrared as a different kind of Blk & Wht. Thanks! |

blowing trees in infraredby ralphComment by talmy: Interesting how the tree on the right is hit harder (I guess the wind is coming from the right?) This would also be good for the new long exposure challenge. |

Locksby ralphComment by Elaine: Great focus, but man made structures are not a landscape to me. |
