This is a great idea, and very original, but it would be a much better shot if all in focus. I would have used a small aperture to get everything in focus, and possibly a flash or an angled light to get detail in the darker areas.

I have to be honest and say that generally I am not a great portrait fan in challenges but this is both a portrait and a wonderful image. It meets the challenge brilliantly and the shocking pink of the snowsuit works fantastically with the high key snow. The people in the back ground add a fantastic sense of depth to the shot.

A great image that I hope does very well for you. Bump to 9
