The light and the shadows along with the sign, all work toward depicting the theme in a quiet, contemplative manner. But this photograph goes beyond just a decision. The stairway (certainly ascending from the prospective of the viewer and thereby the traveller) and the short, dark corridor to the right suggest consequencies to that decision. One of the few 10 scores I have given, this is a perfect photograph where all the components work together in harmony in order to make a positive statement. This is certainly my top pick for this challenge and will go into my "favorites" group.
