Waves comming inby TUBORGComment by JeffryZ: This has tons of potential that I do not think are quite realized. There is nothing special about the object in the foreground and it is directly centered. I think it is more of a distraction than a help in this case. The light is great. Maybe a more horizontal view with a bit more of the rocks on the right and a straighter horizon. Try it again- I am sure you can do it better! |

Waves comming inby TUBORGComment by Shrink: very interesting but rock subject in foreground not matching the beauty of the rest of the photo. Like the flash effect, well balanced |

Waves comming inby TUBORGComment by dalink: Nice! Somehting about the flash bugs me....but I think I know what you were trying to do here....I think the reflection of the sky on the water "trails" on the edge of the surf (or what ever you want to call them) is way more beautiful than this shell object...:) |

Waves comming inby TUBORGComment by heathen: I tend to prefer natural lighting of natural scenes, but this looks interesting...I wonder if a landscape orientation would have been better here...probably should have fixed the horizon before submitting, too |

Waves comming inby TUBORGComment by barbaraanne: Unusual lighting effect. I think it puts the picture into two seperate parts, both interesting but not quite harmonious |

Waves comming inby TUBORGComment by violinist123: This is really an interesting shot, and defintely one of the more creative entries. The tilted horizon is always a distraction. The harsh light on the sand also detracts from the overall shot. But for not having to look at another sunset or frollicking kids and for tackling what looks like a pretty difficult shot to capture I'm giving it a 7. |
