Touch of King Midasby TUBORGComment by Tej: Out of so many of "midas" photos in the challenge, this one certainly is the best and stand out from the crowd. I love the dreamish feel due to glow and the idea of transformation happening from real to gold. Smoke just adds to little more drama. This certainly need to be in top 5. Touche'.9. |

Touch of King Midasby TUBORGComment by mycelium: great simulation of the magic of King Midas. the swirl of smoke is a very nice touch. perhaps a bit more space on the bottom than necessary? |

Waves comming inby TUBORGComment by Dazmat: Nice try, but ... fill flash too strong in forground (almost gives it a split view with the dark band before the water) ... and the horizon is skewed! Generally a good idea but needs a little work. Composition too rigid and doesn't flow. |

Waves comming inby TUBORGComment by Spitfyr: What an interesting shot. I have looked and looked at this picture and still can't quite figure it out. The forground looks like it has fill-in flash or a spot light. To me this gives the appearance that the forground is on an uphill slope to the water's edge. Very strange. |

Waves comming inby TUBORGComment by JRalston: This is very cool! Did you use a flashlight or something in the foreground? Whatever it is, it gives it a great effect. Crooked horizon, but I can see how it might have been hard to crop without cutting off some of the foreground. Good luck! |
