there is something ultimately cool about this. I don't know what it is yet, but I really like it. I think the only improvement would be to lighten their faces just a hair so I can better see them. You're from ky. You must have seen a thousand times men gathered at a fence, shooting the crap, watching cars drive by? Horses do it too, don't they. That's why I love this. :)

I think the composition would have been stronger if you'd shot from a higher angle, to incorporate the horizon, and not have it hidden behind the bar of the fence, and also if you'd levelled the shot so that fence ran straight across the frame.
Nice colour. Like the strong contrast of the fence.
