This is a really busy photo. I have no idea what I am looking at here. I think that if you had chosen a particular part of this scene to zoom in on, then the photo might have been more interesting.

I like the technicals. However I'm having trouble connecting with this to be honest. I find myself more interested in the things that are further away in this photo including the inside, which we can't see at all. I think this would have worked better if there was someone in the shot who I can identify with.

Technicals are fine. Color, sharpness, focus - all nicely done. Other than these factors this is a difficult shot to critique. With the crowd around, this seems to be a bit of a snapshot which is somewhat tough to get a very high score out of. The flag in the background really makes the emotion and steals the show with this shot but I think you probably already knew that. If you could set this up I think you'd want no other people in the pic and shoot with the flag a bit further away from his head.

Overall a very emotive shot and considering everything I'd say it's great.

it took me a long time to under stand what that was.. not until i read your comment :) this is a very nice photo and a really good angle, only thing i can see is maybe a bit to much DOF but nothing that hurts it much :) nice job
