This is really a beautiful composition. It looks like the image is slightly off level, but that does not detract - it rather adds to the effect somehow.

Two general comments I have about the shots in your portfolio is that I'd love to see how you do with a tripod when you do some of these handhelds. The reason I say that is because I suspect the sharpness from using a tripod would add an extra punch to your already very good compositions. The other general comment is that you really do a great job with black and white!

Well Steve, it was pretty good, but if you'd just included a yellow rubber ducky, a wooden puppet, a chess board and a brutally over-processed sky, this would have been perfect. Top ten for sure.

Ok, this is the most beautiful rose I've ever seen. It's intense, it's glowing, the colors are so rich you think it will rub off on your finger if you touched the image. You have a true gift.

I find this a nice effect, but I feel that the image is lacking any strong subject or anchor point to keep me in the photo.
