Roses are Red.....by jrtoddComment by Neil: Nice! I think if you had 45 degree angled and cropped this, it would have done much better. It's weakened a bit by her being "level" across the center. Great tones and overall capture! |

Roses are Red.....by jrtoddComment by aimeethetoo: Not sure I like the perspective but overall a very nice shot - something a little different. I like the B&W with the splash of red. 7 |

Roses are Red.....by jrtoddComment by macrothing: 5 - Like the concept. Lighting is nice. The perspective though, in my opinion, is distracting. Perhaps a rotate 90 degrees right, not sure - which might 'lift' the facial expression a little too. The curtain(?) on the right takes a little to decipher as there is not enough of it yet it is visible, so perhaps including more, not sure, but again, could just be this angle/perspective. The desaturation/toning works well, however the roses more subtle in color and processing, make this even better in my opinion. |

Roses are Red.....by jrtoddComment by Bankson: unusual composition works well and the red with the black and white is a classic just the facial expression isn't really as expressive as the reat of the shot |

Roses are Red.....by jrtoddComment by jmlelii: Ok, I just literally turned my laptop on its side, and I do believe that you need to rotate this image! It would be much more dynamic. As it is, I love the lighting, her expression isnt the best, but I do like the selective desaturation. Great exposure. If it were turned, id give out a 9. as it is, 6. Make sure you rotate it, and when you do let me know so I can add it as a fave! |

Roses are Red.....by jrtoddComment by elru21: I think the angle is so high on this shot that it is almost dizzying. Stepping back a little (or crounching on the stairs or whatever) would have allowed her to look up without looking like she is about to fall backwards down the stairs. Very nice lighting and I like your b/w conversion. |

Roses are Red.....by jrtoddComment by massmediakid31: i like the red roses with the black and white. The angle is a bit bothersome and the bride looks hungover. good contrast in the b&w though, her arms look great. |
