1869 - The Golden Spike by jrtoddComment by Azrifel: A bit bright, but good content and decent composition.
Standing back and using a long telelens would compress the scene more, it would give less of a distant look. |

1869 - The Golden Spike by jrtoddComment by CLarson557: Add just a little grain and I wouldn't believe that this was actually taken this week but in the 1860's. I really like the light sepia tone. 8 |

1869 - The Golden Spike by jrtoddComment by audinut: Great capture and couldn't be a better fit for the challenge. I can't help but think that this may have been better with a little further post editing to give it that true old time look and feel. For sure, you have too much time on your hands! I give it a 9. First page material no doubt. |

1869 - The Golden Spike by jrtoddComment by JayWalk: This is a great photo, but I am a bit concerned. You either:
a) Have way too much time and money on your hands to compose such a great picture
b) Spent way too much time tracking down the perfect picture for this submission
c) Cheated!
Either way... great pic! Should finish in the top 3. |
