just don't feel that the the ghosting is really working here - maybe in part because it is not very sharp. Without wishing to offend, the patriotic call implicit in the flag may switch off some non-US voters - very slightly cheapens the image for me as it feels as though the symbol is being used to evoke an emotive response that the picture would not otherwise demand.
