candid3.jpgby thomaspeopleComment by Melethia: This is a GREAT portrait of your kids! I love the red hair and they both have completely infectious smiles!! It's a little pale - try playing with a bit to bring up the darks in levels. If you have photoshop, after you do that, make a duplicate layer and use the soft light blending mode on that layer. If that's too dark, reduce the opacity a bit, and if it's got too much red for your taste, use a selective color layer and take some black and magenta out of both the red and magenta settings. And if you have no idea what I'm talking about, email me! I really think this is worthy of printing and framing. |

candid6.jpgby thomaspeopleComment by Melethia: This is cool. I like the looking down the beach aspect, and I actually like her head cut off and the angle. Voters would not like these things. I think you should take this one and go to town in photoshop - try a bunch of different things, not the least of which is black and white. Really quite an interesting shot to me. |

candid5.jpgby thomaspeopleComment by Melethia: Hi Walter - I actually quite like this one, though I'm sure folks would think it staged rather than a "candid" - they really look like they're having fun, though. And that they might even know what they're doing! |
