I don't get it either. I think, honestly, that they're just mildly interesting kids' books (nowhere near the quality of, say, C.S. Lewis or Beverly Cleary) that got popular and then got great marketing and then went viral. I think in fifty years, a few people will still be reading the books, but mostly they'll be remembered for all the hype.

Nice photograph, though -- what a humorous expression. Your daughter seems like she must be a lot of fun. :)

hee! brilliant. I agree with cfarrell -- you should send a watermarked representative sample of these shots to whoever it is that makes those non-food "snacks". I far prefer looking at your pictures to actually eating the vile things.
